Colorado truly has it all when it comes to micro wedding venues. From rustic mountain top cabins to glitzy city hotels, there’s something for every couple looking to set the stage for their dream wedding.
Here, we’ve rounded up the top micro wedding venues in Colorado. These venues either cater specifically to smaller weddings, or are able to accommodate your pint sized crowd.
This luxury mountain destination proves that you don’t have to choose between glamour and rustic, because here you can have both.
Set on a riverfront mountain destination, River Crest Cabins has two luxury cabins to house you and your closest friends and family. The site also includes a riverfront ceremony and cocktail reception island, as well as exclusive use of the deck and overlook, a wedding arbor, chairs, tables, and a reception room.
Rates vary depending on the times of year your stay (between $3,000-$5,000 for the site fee), and you have the option to include a variety of add-ons, including a ceremony sound system and wedding day butler (yes, seriously).
They require a 3 night stay (booking both cabins), which gives you plenty of time to relax, party, and enjoy your celebration.
The Red Barn in Evergreen is located only 30 miles outside of Denver, but gives you all of the rustic mountain feels to make you believe you’re tucked deep in the Rocky Mountains (without your guests having to drive the 2+ hours).
Your ceremony will take place at the Mountain Side Arbor, which is nestled within towering pines and aspens, creating a naturally intimate feel. Rainy day? These guys are seasoned Coloradans, and have a backup plan for any inclement weather that might occur.
They also offer winter weddings, and we were simply swooning over their winter weddings gallery.
The barn has three stories, but still feels cozy enough to make a micro wedding feel right at home, while also offering the chance for some pretty epic above the action photos.
We also loved their flexibility in catering, stating that they allow anything from delivered pizza to a fully catered event. This provides the ultimate in customization, and will meet the needs and vision of any couple.
Costs vary depending on the time of year, and they offer an additional discount for micro weddings, so reach out for further details on pricing.
A micro wedding event doesn’t necessarily mean rustic backyard vibes. In fact, one of the biggest benefits of holding a micro wedding is the fact that a small number of guests can make your ultra lux wedding dreams come true.

To top it off, they have consistent pricing year round (no peak pricing here!) that is low enough to fit into any micro wedding budget. Renting the main venue will put you out just $2,600 for 6.5 hours of event time (this includes set up and break down), and you can purchase additional event time for $400 an hour.
Oh, and they let you bring your own alcohol. Let the party begin!
This Fort Collins venue gives you all of the rustic farm wedding vibes with the perfect balance of historic and modern. The historic farmhouse is located on a 20 acre property that’s absolutely dripping in historic and charming details. From adorable footbridges, cobblestone buildings, and a breathtaking quartz fireplace, you’ll feel like you’re starring in your own Disney movie.

Rust Canyon also offers overnight lodging in the Farmhouse and Pine cabins. These offer full use kitchens, so you can make a weekend of your event with those closest to you.
The Surf Hotel is a European inspired venue that offers a sense of ‘luxury without pretension’. The stone walls and Rocky Mountain backdrop check all of the boxes of elegance, without feeling too vast.
We especially love the intimate courtyard available for both ceremony and reception, since it’s the ideal space for a family style meal. Their catering from Wesley and Rose is farm to table focused, with fresh baked bread and locally sourced ingredients, making it the perfect choice for foodie couples.
Their packages include a venue coordinator, full catering, and all of the set up, so you don’t have to worry about anything other than enjoying your special day.
