The Best Micro Wedding Venues in Florida

Florida is a state where you can find it all. From dreamy ocean front venues, to rustic European inspired properties, you’re sure to find a micro wedding venue that fits your vision.

Cheeca Lodge and Spa

Cheeca Lodge and Spa, located in the Florida Keys, is actually five venue options wrapped up into one. Something they all have in common though? Perfect white sand, turquoise clear water, and incredible backdrops. We love that their minimum guest count for the weekends in only 25, since one issue that couples planning a micro wedding often encounter is large guest count minimums for weekend weddings. Whether you’re planning a local or destination micro wedding in Florida, these locations are an incredible option.

If you’re looking to splurge and treat your wedding guests to an epic vacation, then check out the North and South beach locations, where minimum room rent outs are a requirement. Their menu options are extensive and elegant, featuring delicious dishes that highlight the epic coastal cuisine and allow you to choose between a plated dinner or buffet. Packages include all of the essential set up items you’ll need (chairs, linens, china, etc), and they have a variety of fun additional options such as post wedding brunch and Welcome Bag delivery to your guests.

Coastal Occasions

Coastal Occasions is a seasonal venue (they host between October – Early May) that hosts events in their magical Greenhouse Courtyard. Not only is this company a venue, but they’re also a group of wedding planning/design experts that will make sure to bring whatever vision you have to life.

The Greenhouse Courtyard is a perfect combination of natural greenery and wood accents, along with soft twinkly lights to set the mood. They offer flexible options for dining, and even allow food trucks. You get to choose whether to have your ceremony at the nearby beach or park.

Gallery J

Gallery J designates itself as “Orlando’s most creative event venue”, and they absolutely live up to the expectations. The venue is a creative and cool combination of brick walls, wood floors, and unique accents like a grand piano and spiral staircase. Getting hitched here is like having a ceremony under the stars, without having to worry about crappy weather ruining your moment. This location boasts 600 twinkling overhead lights, along with rose petals that fall from overheard when you’re pronounced ‘official’. It’s basically a Disney moment brought to life.

They’re also a self proclaimed ‘cozy place’ (50 people is their recommended max for seated guests), making it a perfect location for your micro wedding. One more bonus? They’re pet friendly, so your furry best friends can be a part of your special day.

Cross Creek Ranch

This all inclusive venue is an absolute dream for the couple who doesn’t want to stress about every little detail, but does want to pull off a dreamy and elegant event. Cross Creek Ranch has two venues, and their French Country Inn venue is perfect for any micro wedding.

They provide almost everything (all you need to do is bring your officiant, photographer, alcohol, and favors!) as well as full service coronation and design. On top of all that, Cross Creek Ranch is one of those most budget friendly locations we’ve seen in Florida.

The Betsy Hotel

While larger hotels generally don’t score a spot on our ‘best of’ lists, The Betsy Hotel was a welcome exception. This beachfront property has a wide variety of rooms and rooftop spaces, with a handful of them being perfect for the micro wedding of your dreams. This south beach hotel has vintage glamour written all over it, and you can choose between indoor and outdoor spaces, or a combination of the two.

We personally love the B Bar (vintage rock and roll vibes), the Library, and the Skyline Penthouse and Terrace. Their wedding ‘collections’ (packages) include a plated or buffet meal, and any foodie worth their weight will take one look at the menu choices and know that this is a next level meal. In fact, it’s one of the most mouth watering that we’ve seen thus far. If vintage glamour, incredible food, and unmatched service is your vision, this is the venue for you.

Bella Collina

Bella Collina is an Orlando golf community that has some of the most drool worthy settings we’ve ever seen. The venue is Tuscan inspired, and elegant European touches are apparently throughout the property. The Reflection Pool is an incredible outdoor wedding space that will have you convinced that you’re celebrating in an exclusive Tuscan villa, with breathtaking views. We also adore the wine cellar for ultra exclusive and romantic reception dinner that you’ll remember forever.

Make a weekend of your wedding, and enjoy the spa and golf course as well. They also host numerous tasting events throughout the year where couples can come to taste menu options, get inspired by trending florals and decor, and more.

Havana Cabana

Looking for a venue that’s as fun, playful, and unique as you are? Havana Cabana is the perfect venue for the couple who wants their celebration to be just that – a celebration. If you haven’t already figured out from their name, Havana Cabana is a cuban inspired venue, which means bright colors and lively vibes. It also means cuban inspired cuisine (seafood paella and a pig roast buffet are just two of the many options!) and hand rolled cuban cigars.

Choose from a variety of customizable packages, along with optional enhancements (think salsa band and a chevy ride in the gorgeous vintage car). Regardless of what you choose, your micro wedding will be a party that your guests talk about for years to come.
